BOOK REVIEW
THE PROBLEMS OF WORK by L.Ron Hubbard.
R192.00 hardback, R120.00 paperback, R155.00 audiobook
This is
a short and very useful book, written in a style that is very
easy and pleasurable to read.
THE PROBLEMS OF
WORK is a practical guide which helps one deal with the
situations one encounters in getting work, keeping a job, and
expanding professionally. It presents very simple and effective
methods for improving efficiency, handling exhaustion and
confusion, raising one's ability to communicate and how to bring
stability to your job and place of work.
The
format of the book is an aid to its practicality, with easy to
read print size, clear illustrations and a very extensive
glossary in the back, complete with finger notches for easy
refernce.
THE PROBLEMS
OF WORK deals with an activity which takes up 7/10ths of our
living hours and on which the quality of our lives heavily
depends. Amid the
piles of "Get Rich Quick", "Power Dressing"
"Art of War" type advice books for work that come out
so rapidly (and disappear on the wave
of the
next business
trend), this book is
an honest, usable, guide, dealing with senior principles and
laws which apply to every endeavour in the field of work.
There are no gimmicks. It is highly recommended if you
want to succeed in life, or even just enjoy work.
