actor hosts acting workshops at Plett Primary
Local
actor, Stuart Palmer and the Grade 7 learners are having loads
of fun. Stuart was invited by Plett Primary to develop a number
of theatre pieces based on the six key values of
trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and
good citizenship. These theatre pieces will form the basis of
the drama curriculum evaluation at the end of the first term
when a special evening showcasing the pieces is being organized

looking at alternative
electricity
options
Bitou Municipality's Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
Department is exploring various alternative power sources. They
are also reviewing current load saving options.
The Municipality currently buys about 20MW a month from
ESKOM for its six main stations in Plettenberg Bay and the
surrounding areas. During the past seven years, Bitou's
consumption has increased by about six percent due to population
